Diane Cobbs brings over 25 years of experience in aquatic education, having taught swimming and water safety to generations of children and adults. From first-time swimmers nervous about putting their face in the water to adults finally learning a skill they've always wanted, Diane has guided thousands of students at every stage. Her passion for helping people feel safe and confident in the water has shaped countless lives throughout her career.
Diane served as Aquatic Director at St. Matthew's Recreation Center for 12 years, where she built and led programs known for their quality and care. During that time she developed a teaching approach grounded in patience, encouragement, and meeting each student exactly where they are. For the past five years, she has been part of the team at WOLF Fitness (formerly Kennedy Fitness), where she develops and teaches programs for swimmers of all ages and skill levels.
Known for her calm, personalized style, Diane understands that every swimmer learns differently—and that confidence in the water is built one small win at a time. Whether she's working with a toddler in their first lesson or an adult overcoming a lifelong fear, her focus stays the same: steady progress, genuine encouragement, and real results.
Diane's goal is simple. She wants everyone, regardless of age or experience, to become a safe and capable swimmer—and to actually enjoy their time in the water along the way.
Meet Diane!
